AFITEXINOV built ponds along the A75 motorway

Eiffage entrusted AFITEXINOV with the construction of ponds along the A75 motorway, near Clermont Ferrand.
12,000 m2 of SOMTUBE FTB4 geocomposite were installed at the bottom of the 4 ponds to drain water under 20 cm of concrete ballast, combined with decompression stacks.

This solution, popular in the construction industry, facilitates :
- Savings in terms of earthwork and granular material volumes and transport : carbon footprint reduced by 84%
- Quick installation
- The pouring of concrete directly on the product, without clogging the geocomposite thanks to the polyethylene film
