AFITEXINOV takes part in the Roland Garros modernisation stadium project in Paris (France)

Since 2015, major work has begun to modernise the Roland Garros stadium, which should be inaugurated in 2021. All equipments, infrastructures and green spaces are being redesigned to welcome the public, players and spectators in the best possible conditions. In this respect, PETIT (Vinci group) has entrusted AFITEXINOV with the drainage of the square around the Philippe Chatrier court and the museum.

Two quick and easy to install solutions were selected :

- 2080 m2 of COVERDRAIN FT for horizontal drainage of rainwater under the slabs, replacing the traditional drainage layer made of granular marterial, which would have been difficult to transport to a site such as the Roland Garros stadium by truck.

- 800 m2 of ALVÉODRAIN F for vertical and horizontal drainage of rainwater in a "U" shape on part of the esplanade. This product was chosen for its flexibility and its ability to adapt both vertically and horizontally.
